Abstract

Abstract Tetrahedron shaped packing with two sealing zones positioned across each other includes in one of its triangular surfaces (11) near its corner a hole (3) for discharging the contents. The hole (3) is covered by a strip (4) which with most of its surface is in contact with the triangular surface (11), apart from one of its corners (13) which projects over the edge of the triangular surface (11) or is bent towards the adjoining side wall (15). The corner (13) forms a finger tab for easy removal of the strip (4) when the packing contents is to be discharged through the hole (3). The strip (4) is either coated with hot sealed adhesive or the inside surface of the discharging hole (3) is covered with a plastic skin (2) which adheres inside the hole (3) to the adhesive coating (10) of the strip (4) so sealing the hole (3).
