Imidazo-rifamycines, process for their preparation, pharmaceutical preparations containing them and their use

Abstract Translated from German N,N,Disubstituierte Derivate von 4-Aminoimidazolo-[4,5-c]rifamycin SV oder S der Formel worin R Wassterstoff oder Acetyl und Am eine von einem sekundären Amin abgeleitete Aminogruppe bedeutet, sowie Salze von entsprechenden Verbindungen mit salzbildenden Eingenschaften können in der Therapie von Infektionskrankheiten Anwendung als Antibiotika finden. Sie können mittels an sich bekannter Methoden, z.B. aus 3-Aminorifamycin-Verbindungen durch die Behandlung mit Ammoniak und mit einem reaktionsfahigen Derivat eines Formamids der Formel Am-CH=O in beliebiger Reihenfolge hergestellt werden. Zum Erfindungsgegenstand gehören auch die als Zwischenprodukte erhältlichen Formamidine der Formel worin Am und R die obige Bedeutung haben, sowie entsprechende Verbindungen der SV-Reihe. Sie können durch die Behandlung einer entsprechenden 3-Aminorifamycin-Verbindung mit einem reaktionsfähigen Derivat eines entsprechenden sekundären N-Formylamins in an sich bekannter Weise hergestellt werden und besitzen analoge antibiotische Eigenschaften wie die Imidazol-Derivate der Formel I. They can be prepared by treating a corresponding 3-aminorifamycin compound with a reactive derivative of a corresponding secondary N-formylamine in a manner known per se and have antibiotic properties analogous to those of the imidazole derivatives of the formula I.
