Abstract The device for positioning the printing cylinders of a flexographic printer comprises, in combination, a digital electronic assembly (41 to 58) for the automatic logging by displays (42) and (47 to 50) of the exact values of the variable parameters for the purpose of an exact positioning of at least one inking station interacting with an electronic assembly (59, 60) for the storage of the correction and display adjustments to the variable parameters for a subsequent positioning of the inking station or inking stations identical to the preceding positioning in the event of an external repetition of the same printing job with the same printing cylinders. <IMAGE>
