A sensor according to any one of the preceding claims when connected in series to a power circuit together with an actuator solenoid whereby said actuator solenoid can be worked in response to an abrupt variation in resistance of said sensor element.
Claim 7
Independent Claim
122 words
A method for fabricating a sensor element as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4 which comprises mixing an aqueous solution of the elements A,A'B and B' each in the form of a water-soluble salt except that an oxide powder is used when V and/or Ti is used as the element B', thermally decomposing the water-soluble salts, heating the decomposition products at a temperature of 850 to 950°C to give a powder of a compound oxide of the perovskite type, adding to said powder 20 to 40% by weight methyl cellulose based on the powder, drying the mixture to a predetermined moisture content, press-molding the mixture in a given form, and sintering the resulting molding at a temperature below 1200°C.
