Control method for a train with automatic operation
Abstract
The implementation of the present method uses known devices for transmitting information by the rails of a railway track intended for a vehicle traveling on this track, devices comprising on the ground a conductive turn inducing an alternating signal in a zone of transmission limited by tuned shunts (4, 5) and, on board the vehicle, at least one receiver of the signal induced in the rails (1, 2). According to the invention, a voltage variation detector is connected to said receiver which is associated with a transmitter inducing an alternating signal permanently in the rails (1, 2) and, consequently, in the turn (6). The respective variations in the voltage induced in the turn and in the supply voltage of the turn provide redundant information of the presence of a vehicle in the transmission zone. Application to the automatic driving of railway vehicles.
