Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Sichtschirmtelefon mit einem Modem zur Herstellung einer Verbindung über eine Fernsprechleitung mit einer Bildschirmtextzentrale, wobei das Modem neben einer Wähleinrichtung eine Leitungsüberwachungseinrichtung sowie eine Schalteinrichtung enthält. Es sind wahlweise entweder die Wähleinrichtung (WE (M)) und die Leitungsüberwachung (LÜCM) des Modems oder die Wähleinrichtung (WE) und die Leitungsüberwachung (LÜ) des Sichtschirmtelefons anschaltbar. Über eine Grundschaltung (G) ist die Wähleinrichtung (WE) so an die Fernsprechleitungen anschaltbar, daß mit aufgelegtem Handapparatekörper gewählt oder eine Verbindung zu einer Bildschirmtextzentrale hergestellt werden kann (Fig. 2).
