Abstract Translated from French Une structure métallique du type sandwich comporte deux semelles externes métalliques (1, 2) et une âme interne (3) prise entre les deux semelles externes et constituée par une toile de tamis ou un grillage métallique. A metallic structure of the sandwich type comprises two metallic external soles (1, 2) and an internal core (3) taken between the two external soles and constituted by a sieve fabric or a metallic mesh. Pour permettre l'emboutissage d'une telle structure on prévoit une couche de colle (4) assurant la liaison entre les semelles (1, 2) et l'âme (3). Cette couche de colle (4), continue ou discontinue, est appliquée, avant la formation de la structure sandwich, sur au moins une semelle (1), l'assemblage de cette structure sandwich étant réalisé par pressage, immédiatement après l'encollage de manière à permettre à la colle encore à l'état fluide, de fluer entre les parties dures et de venir se loger dans les mailles du tamis ou grillage constituant l'âme.
