Abstract

The discharge tube is designed as follows: A relatively thin, cylindrical ceramic jacket (1) is divided in its interior by a row of copper disks (2). Each disc (2) contains an outer ring (7), which is arranged coaxially to the jacket and is soldered to the jacket tube (1), and a central opening and is thicker in the area of the opening than in the ring area. The thickness is a function of the distance to the longitudinal axis of the tube, such that the area of the disk which passes through the heat on its way from the opening to the jacket tube does not become smaller with increasing distance from the longitudinal axis of the tube. A ceramic tube (3) coaxial with the jacket tube is soldered into each central pane opening. Preferred embodiment: The jacket tube (1) is washed with water; the copper washers (2) each consist of an outer and an inner part (5 or 6), both of which are soldered together and each have a constant wall thickness; the inner part (6) runs out into a ring (inner ring 7) coaxial to the jacket, which surrounds the ceramic tube (3) and is in turn enclosed by a pressure ring (4) made of molybdenum. Hauptanwendungsgebiet: Art-Laser mit einer Ausgangsleistung im Wattbereich. Main application: Art laser with an output power in the watt range.
