Abstract

The proposed plasma tube is a metal-ceramic structure with the following structure: Solid copper plates (4), in which the ratio between wall thickness and outside diameter is between 0.08 and 0.3, are separated by A1 2 0 3 rings (1) spaced. Between the plates and the rings there is also a matching ring (3), which consists of a metal thermally matched to the ring ceramic. All of these parts are soldered together to form a self-supporting, vacuum-tight unit. Each copper plate is also enclosed by a soldered cooling plate (5) and in turn surrounds a ceramic tube (7). This tube is soldered into the plate, and in order to relieve this connection, if possible, the plate has several slots (8) extending radially from the tube. Hauptanwendungsgebiet: Ar + -Laser mit etwa 100mW Ausgangsleistung. Main area of application: Ar + lasers with approximately 100mW output power.
