Abstract Translated from French Composés aromatiques polycycliques utilisables en thérapeutique et cosmétique répondant à la formule générale suivante : <IMAGE> dans laquelle : X représente -CH=CH-, O ou S, R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, représentent un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, ayant de 1 à 15 atomes de carbone, un radical alkoxy ayant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, ou R1 et R2, pris ensemble, forment avec les atomes de carbone adjacents du noyau naphtalénique, un cycle à 5 ou 6 chaînons éventuellement substitués(s) par au moins un radical alkyle inférieur, ou interrompu par un atome d'oxygène, R3 représente le radical -CH2OH, ou -COR4 ou encore le radical -CH3 lorsque cas R1 et R2, pris ensemble, forment un cycle à 5 ou 6 chaînons, R4 représentant -OR5 ou <IMAGE> R5 représentant un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle ayant 1 à 20 atomes de carbone, monohydroxyalkyle, polyhydroxyalkyle, aryle ou aralkyle éventuellement substitué(s) ou un reste d'un sucre ou encore représentent le radical : <IMAGE> p étant 1, 2 ou 3, r' et r" représentant un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, un radical monohydroxyalkyle ou polyhydroxyalkyle, un radical aryle éventuellement substitué ou un reste d'aminoacide ou de sucre aminé ou encore pris ensemble forment un hétérocycle, et les sels desdits dérivés aromatiques polycycliques de formule (I).
