Abstract
Abstract Method and apparatus for aligning sweets, for example chocolate bars, on a conveyor belt by means of a stopping rod, with a high capacity. In this regard, the stopping rod (5) is lowered down from above between two successive rows of sweets, guided along with said sweets in the conveying direction but at a reduced speed relative to the conveyor belt (2) and, after the rows of sweets have been aligned, accelerated relative to the conveyor belt (2), then raised and returned to the starting point. <IMAGE>
