The invention relates to a method and a device for applying a flux to a geometrically defined solder joint. Der Kern der Erfindung liegt darin, daß das Flußmittel zunächst drucklos bzw. annähernd drucklos ultraschall­zerstäubt wird und daß sodann der Flußmittelnebel mit Hilfe einer gezielten Luftströmung zur Lötstelle trans­portiert und auf diese aufgetragen wird. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the flux is first ultrasonically sprayed without pressure or almost without pressure, and then the flux mist is transported to the soldering point with the aid of a targeted air flow and is applied thereon.
