Use of the plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-2) in immunosuppression

Abstract Translated from German Es wird beschrieben, daß Plasminogen-Aktivator-Inhibitor (PAI-2) u.a. zur Herstellung eines Arzneimittels zur Immunsuppression, zur Therapie von Krankheitsprozessen, die mit erhöhter Sauerstoff-Radikalbildung einhergehen, zur Therapie und Prophylaxe von Wund- und Knochenheilungsstörungen, sowie als Mittel zur topischen Anwendung, vorzugsweise zur Fibrinklebung, als Wundheilungsspray oder Asthmaspray oder Verbrennungsspray oder zur Therapie und Prophylaxe von mit erhöhter Leukozytenaktivität einhergehenden Erkrankungen, verwendet werden kann. Weiterhin wird ein Arzneimittel enthaltend PAI-2 und einen Ornithin-Decarboxylase-Inhibitor beschrieben. Plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-2) is described, inter alia, for the manufacture of a medicament for immunosuppression, for the therapy of disease processes that are associated with increased oxygen radical formation, for the therapy and prophylaxis of wound and bone healing disorders, and as a means for topical use, preferably for fibrin gluing, as a wound healing spray or asthma spray or burn spray or for therapy and prophylaxis of diseases associated with increased leukocyte activity. Furthermore, a drug containing PAI-2 and an ornithine decarboxylase inhibitor is described.
