Configuration process of a computerised system
Abstract
Abstract In a meshed, non-hierarchical computerised network the data transmission is organised on a network comprising nodes linked by branches constituted by identical, non-directional, elementary links, by organising logic paths going from one node to another possibly via other nodes by reserving the necessary number of elementary links on the branches necessary for these paths. The free/occupied state of all of the links is memorised at the site of each node. An authorisation token circulating from node to node authorises the node which receives it to reserve on the basis of the occupation table of the links those which are necessary for it to establish these transmissions. The node next transmits its reservations to the others and frees the token for the following node. This makes it possible to obtain non-hierarchical data flow without blockage. <IMAGE>
