Abstract
Abstract A method for monitoring terrain in the TV or IR range for the purpose of detection and determination of preferably small target objects in a sequence of images, using a spatially stationary camera followed by an evaluation circuit arrangement. The influence of large moving objects and other disturbances is eliminated by comparing successive images for similarity. <IMAGE>
