Abstract
Abstract Transfer paper for transferring coloured xerographic copies to textile substrates consists of base paper, a first release layer contg. a mixt. of paraffin wax and EVA; and a second, print-carrying layer of EVA/maleic anhydride terpolymer with 9-28 wt.% vinyl acetate and 0.5-3 wt.% maleic anhydride. The novelty is that the first layer contains 69-70 wt.% paraffin wax with a m.pt. of 50-70 degrees C and is applied in an amt. of 10-30 g/m<2>. Also claimed is a method for printing textile materials, esp. T-shirts, with this transfer paper.
