Duct joining structure for cooling liquid-cooled motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a connecting section by fitting an O ring to the periphery of an odd-shaped sectional hole in the end face of a casing, partly communicating a circular sectional hole in a housing with the odd-shaped sectional hole and fastening the casing and the housing. CONSTITUTION:An odd-shaped sectional hole 40 for causing a coolant to flow in the direction shown by the arrow A is formed to the end face of a casing 1 for a motor, and an O ring is fitted to a groove 50 in the periphery of the hole 40 and a liquid-tight structure is shaped. A bracket 2 having a circular sectional hole 41 is fastened to the end face of the housing 1 by a bolt 10, and the circular sectional hole 41 is communicated with a communicating hole 42 in the odd-shaped sectional hole 40. Accordingly, a duct, which is assembled simply, is formed by a small number of parts.
