X-ray tube filament heating apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent irregular irradiation or X-rays by generating a halt signal from an abnormality discrimination circuit when disconnection or imperfect contact is occured in a heating circuit which is the later stage including an inverter in a X-ray tube filament heating apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When disconnection or imperfect contact is occured in either of a switching element of an inverter 7, a primary coil 8a and a secondary coil 8b of a heating transformer 8, a X-ray tube filament 9a or a high-tension cable connecting the secondary coil 8b and the filament 9a, a divided voltage V4 exceeds a reference voltage V5 accordingly with excessive increase of an output voltage V1. A halt signal S0 is generated from a voltage comparating circuit 16 to a high voltage application control circuit 18 to inhibit a high voltage to be applied to a X-ray tube 9 and also to an alarm section 19 to warn operators that a heating circuit is in disconnection or imperfect contact. Irradiation of X-rays in abnormal state is thus prevented.
