Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To early detect a fault by setting the suppressing conditions of a fault message for each device and at the same time updating and informing a fault level when the fault message exceeds its suppressing conditions. CONSTITUTION:A fault message control mechanism 1 receives a fault message A and performs a suppressing process, and the processing result 5 is added. The mechanism 1 consists of a fault message control means 2, the condition setting tables 3-1 to 3-n, and a store table 4. Then the suppressing conditions of the message A are set for each device. When the mechanism 1 receives the same fault message by the prescribed number of times within a unit time, the mechanism 1 decides the occurrence of a fault having higher importance and informs it. In such a way, the fault can be early detected.
