Straightening plate and its control method
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation on the surface of the straightening plate and to reduce the using quantity of humidifying steam and the electric energy required for the humidification by energizing a heating wire incorporated in the straightener plate and holding the surface of the straightener plate at specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:Circulating air which is cooled and dehumidified by a cooler 1 and controlled by a reheater 2 to constant temperature is sent by an air blower 3 through an air feeding duct 4. Steam generated by a steam generator 5 is blown out of a steam header 6 into the circulating air and flows to a space 8 to be tested together with the circulating air. Then the dry bulb temperature and relative humidity of the circulating air are detected by a temperature and humidity sensor 9 to control the reheating value and humidification quantity. The circulating air existing from the space 8 to be tested passes through the air blowing duct 10 and returns to the cooler 1. Further, the heating wire and a temperature sensor 12 or dew condensation sensor arranged in the straightener plate 7 and signals from the temperature and humidity sensor 9, temperature sensor 12, steam generator 5, etc., are received to control the energizing to the heating wire 11 by a controller 13. Consequently, dew condensation on the surface of the straightening plate and the using quantity of heating steam and the electric energy required for the humidification are reducible.
