Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make sensitive even to extremely light articles by arranging a load supporting roller and a lifting roller up and down via a driving belt and providing a light non-load supporting detecting roller movable up and down between the load supporting rollers so that the lifting roller at the upstream side can be moved down with its detecting operation. CONSTITUTION: A load supporting roller 14 is engaged with a driving belt 18 lifted up with a lifting roller 16 moved up and thereby driven to carry articles. On the other hand, a light detecting roller 42 is always projected upward of the load supporting roller 14 on a carriage 36 in weight-balanced relation to a heavy balancing roller 44. In such a state, the carriage 36 is engaged with an actuator button 50 to actuate an air valve for lifting the lifting roller 16. When articles are placed on the detecting roller 42, the carriage 36 is reversed to cut off the actuator button 50 for moving down the lifting roll 16 and stopping conveyance. Sensitivity is thus improved.
