Presence display board

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the input operation by enabling a caller to input his presence information or the like with a voice from a terminal to which a presence display board is connected. CONSTITUTION:On receiving incoming signal from a telephone line 1, the control part 2 controls a voice generating circuit 5 to send an operation guide message dependent upon voice synthesis to the caller. When the caller speaks an ID number, a voice recognizing device 3 recognizes the voice of the caller and sends the recognized ID number to a control part 6. The control part 6 lights the light emitting diode corresponding to the ID number on a display part 7. The voice generating circuit 5 requests the caller to speak presence or absence information again, and the spoken voice of the caller is recognized by the voice recognizing device 3 to send information to the control part 6. The control part 6 lights the light emitting diode corresponding to presence/absence information on the display part 7.
