Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform stable magnetic recording and reproducing even in the case of using a film having a photosensitive layer and a magnetic layer by detecting the film take-up quantity of a take-up side spool and controlling the feeding speed of the film based on the detected value of the detection means. CONSTITUTION:The film take-up quantity, that is, the detection data of the effective diameter of the take-up side spool 3 is outputted by the detection means 7. By receiving the detected value from the detection means 7, a CPU 8 calculates the number of revolution of the spool by which the previously set film feeding speed corresponding to the effective diameter is obtained. The CPU 8 transmits a control signal to a driving circuit 9 so that voltage equivalent to the number of revolution of the spool obtained in such a way may be impressed on a take-up motor 5. By thus controlling film feeding, the film feeding speed is kept constant and the recording/reproducing (write/readout) of the data on the magnetic layer of the film 1 by a magnetic head 4 is accurately performed.
