Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To produce a fiber having a long fiber length and free of admixture of impurities from a crucible by spinning inside the crucible a mother material consisting of a multi-component glass as a core and a thick layer of a powder of a multi-component glass as a cladding formed outside the core.
