Device for warning reduction of capacity of battery

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To exactly warn the reduction of the capacity of a battery by detecting the voltage drop at the terminal of the battery and stably indicating it by an indicator such as a lamp or the like. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a bridge circuit BR, a voltage detector circuit VD, a timer circuit TM for retaining the output of the voltage detector circuit VD for predetermined time as connected to the circuit VD, and a drive circuit DR for energizing a lamp L as an indicator by the output of the timer circuit TM. Further, in order to detect the electrolytic level drop owing to the reduction of the electrolyte in a battery B, there are also provided a liquid level sensor LS using an auxiliary electrode plate or the like, and an inverter circuit IV for inverting the output of the sensor LS and applying it to the drive circuit DR.
