Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make easy for the measurement of Q coefficient, by detecting the resonance of series oscillation circuit with code inversion amplifier and directly reading the division value between the voltage across the variable capacitor for oscillation adjustment and the input AC signal voltage. CONSTITUTION: AC signal voltage is fed to the oscillation circuit consisting of the tested coil 5 and the variable capacitor in series to it and the capacitance of the capacitor 6 is adjusted, then the resonance of the oscillation circuit is detected with the grounded non-inverting terminal, inverting terminal fed with the oscillation output, and minimized output of the code inversion amplifier 12 to which the feedback resistor 13 is connected. With this condition, the voltage across the capacitor 6 and the input AC signal voltage are detected at the voltage followers 15, 16 and processed at the divider 17. Thus, the Q coefficient of the coil 5 is directly read with the meter 18 connected to the divider 17 to make easy the measurement of Q. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
