Manufacture of engine room model

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate the attachment of model parts, by providing a plurality of twolayer decks in an engine room model. CONSTITUTION: Each deck for the ship engine room model 1, which is made from a transparent plastic material, is composed of an upper and a lower layers 2, 4, which can be divided from each other. Upper model parts 3 for various appliances, pipes, etc. are fitted on the top of the upper layer 2. Lower model parts 5 are fitted on the bottom of the lower layer 4. A hull can be divided along lines a-a, b-b, c-c as the upper model parts 3 remain fitted on the upper layer 2. After the lower layer 4 is removed, the divided section of the hull is set on the low rest of a scan -photographing uint to photograph the upper model parts 3 on the upper layer 2. The lower lower layer 4 is thereafter attached to the bottom of the upper layer 2 as the lower model parts 5 remain fitted on the bottom of the lower layer 4. The divided part of the hull is them set on the low rest of the photographing unit while the upper and lower layers 2, 4 are inverted.
