Light-sound analyzer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To analyze the process of photosynthesis of a sample that has a photochemical reactivity by shining light on the sample intermittently with a fixed frequency and by detecting a flow of gas at this time. CONSTITUTION:A sample 2 to be analyzed is put in the sample room 3 of the analyzer A, the solar light, which is made an intermittent light with a fixed frequency, is thrown to the sample 2. Part of the light energy is converted into heat energy, a gas flow is produced in the gas passage 5. The flow is detected as an AC signal by the thermal system flow meter type sensor 9. When the sample acts a photosynthesis, CO2 absorbed in and O2 discharged from the sample are detected by the CO2 and O2 detecting elements of the gas sensor 11.
