Carbureter throttle valve opening speed control device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To open a throttle valve at a fixed opening speed irrespective of accelerating system operating speed when the accelerating system operating speed exceeds a fixed level by providing a delay mechanism within a interlocking mechanism. CONSTITUTION: On a free end of a throttle lever 4 is rotatably connected a rod 5 which passes through delay mechanism 6 and a piston 8 of the delay mechanism 6. The characteristics of the delay mechanism 6 is defined by the properties of a spring 14, a return spring 22, a throttle 11, and the diameter of a connecting hole 12. When the throttle valve opening operating speed is higher than a fixed level, the throttle valve opening speed is limited to a fixed level and when the operating speed is within a fixed operating speed the throttle valve is controlled in proportion to the operating speed.
