Exhaust valve for compressor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust valve having small size, light weight and high reliability by inserting a cylindrical valve body including a plurality of passage slots into an exhaust valve chamber and arranging a lead valve including a passage slot not superimposed with the passage slots in the valve body. CONSTITUTION: The port hole 23 of an exhaust valve is axially formed at part of the casing 22 of a rotary piston compressor to communicate through a passage 24 with a space 22a. In this case, an auxiliary passage 24' is formed at the passage 24 to communicate with a number of passage slots 32 of a lead valve 27 to thereby form as large compressed fluid passage area as possible. A cylindrical valve body 25 formed with a plurality of passage slots 26 is inserted into the port hole 23. The lead valve 27 is so fixed into the valve body 25 in a cantilever shape as to restrict the maximum opening thereof by a stopper 28. In this case, the lead valve 27 is so mounted that the slots 32 are alternatively arranged not to superimpose with the slots 26 of the valve body 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
