Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make clear the print operation of characters making color display, by taking one of the character or back ground part as designated color, another as opposite color of the designated color, and displaying those colors through inversion with a given period. CONSTITUTION: The character code from the line buffer 1 is fed to the character signal generator 2, the character code is converted into the character signal pattern in two dimension to produce the character and back ground pattern. This character and back ground pattern are fed to the polarity inversion control circuit 3, and when blinking is made, the logics 1, 0 are alternately inverted with the signal from the blink control circuit 7 and it is fed to the color selection circuit 4, and the switches 4R, 4G and 4B provided with the circuit 4 are selected. Further, the colors R, G, and B taking the character and back ground part from the buffer 1 as designated color R', G' and B' taking opposite color as the designated color from the code converter 6 are inverted with a given period to output the signal inverted in a given period at the output terminals 5R, 5G and 5B.
