Intermittent feeding and superposing device for continuous sheet

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain exellent superposing of a pair of continuous sheets preventing variation of tension while uniformly maintaining the tension of each sheet, by a mechanism wherein the continuous sheets are separated and the sheets are severally guided by means of a pair of dancer rolls mutually connected. CONSTITUTION: The up-and-down one pair of dancer rollers 11H, 11L are each supported to the one ends of arms 13H and 13L axially in revolution-free shapes, and the other ends of each arm 13H and 13L are pivotally supported around fulcrums 14H, 14L in rocking-free shapes. Each arm 13H and 13L is mutually connected by means of a link 15, and a parallelogram is formed by the both ends of the link 15 and the both fulcrums 14H, 14L. Sheets 1 are each guided between a pair of guide rollers 18 through guide rollers 16H, 16L, the dancer rollers 11H, 11L and guide rollers 17H, 17L under conditions that are separated from a portion between a pair of guide rollers 6, ans superposed. In this case, a triangle 16H, 17H, 11H has the same relationship with a triangle 16L, 17L, 11L continuously. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
