Turret type variable power device in lens system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To position a desired one lens accurately on the optical path by rotating a turret having plural lenses of different focal lengths by the predetermined signal and performing position detection electrically. CONSTITUTION: A V-groove 11 is formed to a turret plate 2 having lenses 1a, 1b, 1c and a connecting pin 8. A slit plate 3 separated from the turret plate 2 is formed with a notch 7 for idling, teeth 4 to be meshed with the pinion 6 of a drive motor 5 and slits 9 in the position opposing to the lenses 1a, 1b, 1c. When the motor 5 revolves by the signal of a variable power, the slit plate 3 is turned and the turret plate 2 is turned by the idling connections 7, 8. When a photosensor 10 detects the predetermined slit 8, the motor 5 stops and the slit plate 3 stops as well, but the turret plate 2 continues to rotate by the inertia of itself within the range 7 of the play of the idle connection and during this time, an engaging member 12 engages with the V-groove 11 and stops.
