Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent abnormally large force from acting on the bearing and so on, by causing the damping part to act on the rotary polygonal mirror when the lock of the second housing to the first housing is released. CONSTITUTION: Rotation shaft 12 is supported through bearings 14 and 14 rotatably between side plates 13 and 13 opposite to each other of the second housing part 4, and one end of shaft 12 is protruded from one side plate 13 to the outside. Lock release handle 15 is fixed to the approximate center of rotation shaft 12 by angle fitting. Lever 25 is fitted to the protruded end of rotation shaft 12, and plunger 27 protruded from electromagnetic device 26 is linked with the lower edge of lever 25 in the intersecting relation. Meanwhile, the lower end of the rotation shaft of rotary polygonal mirror 8 is fixed to brake disc 29, and brake shoes 30 and 30 are arranged in the direction opposite to disc 29. Brake shoes 30 and 30 are pressure-fixed to brake disc 29 to stop inertia rotation of rotary polygonal mirror 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
