Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the optimum plugging and regenerative braking by a method wherein the flowing rate of a chopper circuit is detected in a short time, and the regenerative braking is released when the flowing rate is left at it is maximum, and changed over to plugging. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage of an accelerator 14 is approximately half or higher and a regeneration starting command circuit 18 is H, a transistor TR1is at ON, and an exciting coil 12 of a regenerative contactor 4 is conducted. The output of a comparator 19D reaches H from L, the Q of a monostable multivibrator 21A reaches H, the Q' of a monostable multivibrator 20A reaches L, the output of an NAND circuit 22D is left as it is H, and a transistor 23F can be operated. When the induced voltage of an armature 6 is increased, the transistor 23F is not conducted, each output of an inverter 22C and an NAND 22D reaches L and H, and the regenerative braking is continued even when the Q' of the monostable multivibrator 20A reaches H. When speed decreases and the flowing rate of a chopper increases, the transistor 23F begins to conduct, each input of the inverter 22C and the NAND 22D reaches L and H, the non-inverting input terminal voltage of a level comparison circuit 19 reaches L, and the regenerative braking is completed.
