Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a function that announces the time signal, etc. in voice to a copy incorporating a timepiece, by adding both a timer mechanism and a voice generating means. CONSTITUTION:Both the time when a voice is produced and the type of the voice information are supplied through a key input device 33. A timepiece device 35 actuates an aural signal generator 39 when a prescribed time elapses. For instance, a voice saying ''Copy is ready'' is produced when a fixing device is warmed up in the lapse of a certain period of time, or ''All copy is over'' is given in the lapse of a certain period of time in case a number of sheets are copied.
