Speed change pulley for drive belt

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve life of the belt in such a way that a speed change pulley for a drive belt is screwed with a screw shaft, which is actuated by means of a spring so as to automatically adjust pressure on the belt side in response to load torque. CONSTITUTION: Cylindrical bodies 4, 4' fixed to the outer periphery of a shaft are tightly fixed to a shaft S. Spiral screws g, g' are mounted on said cylindrical materials 4, 4'. Movable pulleys 1, 1' having spiral screw grooves G, G' are screwed to the cylindrical materials 4, 4', and springs 6, 6' are disposed between the movable pulleys 1, 1' and stoppers 7, 7' so as to have the movable pulleys 7, 7' to be actuated in the narrower direction.
