Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve operability by deciding either dew condensation or freezing on the inside surface of a windshield according to signals from a dew condensation and freezing eliminating switch and automatically setting either dew condensation eliminating mode or freezing eliminating mode. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a dew condensation and freezing eliminating switch 15 is inputted to a central processing unit 1, either dew condensation or freezing is decided in response to the signal ta from an outside air temperature sensor 4 according to a predetermined program. If dew condensation is decided, signal M1 from a demist mode setting circuit 12 is inputted to a selecting unit 5 and similarly if freezing is decided, signal M2 from a demist mode setting circuit 13 is inputted to the selecting unit 5. Further, when the possibility of freezing is decided in response to the inside air temperature, signal M3 from a defrost mode setting circuit 14 is inputted to the selecting unit 5. In dependence upon such signals M1-M3, respective control circuits 6-11 of a compressor, intake air switching door, mode switching door, air mix door, blower and rear heating wire are automatically controlled. With this constitution, operability may be improved.
