Circuit for alarming lowering in voltage of battery

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To alarm the lowering in the voltage of a battery having an electronic clock mounted therein by a buzzer sound, by selecting the buzzer sound corresponding to the comparison result of the voltage. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of a battery is lowered and the output of a voltage comparison circuit 1 is reversed to a high level, an AND gate connected to an inverter is closed while other gate are opened and output 25 is selected in place of the output 24 of a buzzer waveform generating circuit 21. By this mechanism, a buzzer sound different from a usual state is issued through a buzzer drive circuit 22 and a speaker 23 and the lowering in the voltage of the battery having an electronic clock mounted therein is alarmed by a buzzer sound.
