Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which does not cause a coagulation between each nuclide particle, has a stable charge characteristic, and also has raised a function property by supplying a spherical nuclide particle having a minute particle diameter, and jetting the mixed suspension consisting of a coloring agent or a magnetic particle or a conductive agent, and a binding material, by a jet air current. CONSTITUTION:A spherical nuclide particle is supplied from a powder supply zone A, and a highly pressurized air is jetted from a highly pressurized air feed pipe C. Together with this highly pressurized air, or from a liquid feed pipe D provided in the vicinity of an outlet of the highly pressurized air feed pipe C, a coating liquid consisting of a coloring agent or a magnetic particle or a conductive agent, and a binding material is supplied. By jetting it by a jet air current, a coating layer consisting of a coating liquid is formed on the nuclide particle. In this way, a toner which has a spherical particle and causes no coagulation is obtained, and a particle diameter distribution becomes uniform, therefore, that which has a sharp Q/M distribution and a stable charge characteristic is obtained.
