Holding structure of heat exchanger
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To absorb the gap of a heat exchanger body produced by the difference of thermal expansion coefficient, and to prevent fluid from leaking out to each other, by elastically holding the heat exchanger body in a casing, interposed by a spacer surrounding one side at least of an air feed opening of a heat exchanger body and by a rubber packing fitted to the end outside of the spacer. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger body is set in a casing 4 consisting of a metal case 5 and a heat insulating material 6. A depression 7 is formed inside the casing in order to set the heat exchanger body in it. A spacer 16 is inserted into the gap of an air feed opening 8 of a heat exchanger body so as to surround the opening 8, and the inside end of a spacer 16 is bonded to the heat exchanger body by an adhesive mortar 15. Highly heat-resistant rubber packing 17 is fitted to the end outside the spacer, and flange 13 fitted to the air feed opening 8 depresses the heat exchanger body to the inside by the intermediary of a rubber packing 17 and a spacer 16. Accordingly, the gap produced by the difference of thermal expansion coefficient can be absorbed by the elasticity of a rubber packing 17. Besides, fluid can be prevented from leaking, because the rubber packing 17 seals the outer periphery of the fluid fed opening of a heat exchanger body.
