Still picture transmitter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To correct an error without making redundant a transmission picture data by providing a transmission error detecting means detecting the number of picture elements at each line to a reception side and requesting the retransmission of a line having a transmission error to a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A decode section 25 decodes the head code of a reception data, writes it in one field memory section 31 and outputs it to an error detection circuit 24 every time a serial picture element data is converted into a parallel data. The circuit 24 checks data number of one line and when there is an error, it is outputted to a latch circuit 28 to latch the value of a line counter 29 and written in an error line memory section 27. After the end of reception, the decode section 25 gives a signal to a retransmission request control section 23. Then the control 23 confirms it to a memory section 27 and outputs an erroneous line to a transmission circuit via a transmission control section 21. The decode section 25 at the reception side confirms a retransmission data and rewrites the data via an address control section 26.
