Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substrate having an excellent flatness and smoothness and an improved gas-proof property by laminating a specific high polymer resin having a specific oxygen permeability with a polyester film having an unistretching axis on a side of the substrate to form a composite substrate having a specific peel strength and visible ray permeability, and by providing a transparent electrode on another side of the above described film. CONSTITUTION:The titled substrate is prepared by coating or laminating the high polymer resin 4 having <=30cc/24(h).(m<3>).atm the oxygen permeability on one or both sides of the above described film or sheet 3 to form the composite substrate having >=50g/25mm the peel strength between the film 3 and the resin 4 and >=60% the visible ray transmittivity and then by providing the transparent electrode 2 on at least one side of the substrate. The above described resin layer is composed of an acrylonitrile polymer (AN), vinylalcohol polymer (VAL) and a halogenated polymer, and preferably copolymer of acrylonitrile and methacrylate. The titled substrate may endure for a long period duty under severe conditions of the outdoor and indoor and is superior to the gas permeability resistance, thereby being free from generating a black point due to an air-contact. The titled substrate is suitable for not only a LCD electrode but also a photoconductive sensitive electrode and a heating element plate and a decorative plate.
