Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To set the time of alarm or the like optionally with a message signal by correcting an incorporated clock (incorporated calendar) with contents of the message signal in accordance with a preliminarily determined code of a control signal of a call signal consisting of a frame synchronizing signal, a selective calling signal, the control signal, and the message signal in order. CONSTITUTION:When a desired radio frequency comes, a reception signal is detected. If a receiver has a corresponding individual selective call number ID, a voltage is applied to the receiver. Contents of a P-ROM50 where ID of the receiver itself is written and the reception signal are compared and collated with each other when a following frame synchronizing signal SC is detected (DT2), and the message signal is processed by a processing part 60 of message data MD if the coincidence between them is confirmed (DT3). Message data is decoded and is stored in an RAM300 and is displayed on an LCD90 through an LCD driver 200, and a transmitting means 80 is driven through a decoder 40 and a buffer 70 to report it to a receiver owner that he is called. The incorporate calendar or the time is corrected by month and day information of a control signal 11.
