Thermal recording device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To perform an appropriate printing control automatically in accordance with the kinds of an ink donor film to be mounted, by reading a sheet to be heated which has attribute code data, and by selecting sequences correspondingly. CONSTITUTION:When an ink donor film is mounted on the device, a reading means 21 traces attribute code data 37 and reads informations, and writes them into a non-volatile memory 23. The informations may include for instances, ink donor films for surface sequential color printing, using four color inks, designating four milliseconds for a standard thermal head printing pulse width. Based on the above informations, a sequencer 22 selects a sequence for the use of the ink donor film for surface sequential color printing. Further, taking into consideration a standard printing pulse width, a printing pulse width datum is selected and picked up from a printing pulse control table memory 24, and through a thermal head driver 29 the thermal head 28 is driven.
