Crosslinkable composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a crosslinkable composition excellent in processability and the heat resistance, adhesiveness, electrical insulation, etc., of a crosslinked product, by mixing an olefin/glycidyl compound copolymer with an olefin/ unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and a reaction accelerator. CONSTITUTION:The purpose crosslinkable composition is obtained by mixing 1-99wt% copolymer of an olefin (e.g., ethylene or propylene) with a compound of formula I or II (wherein R<1> is H or methyl, R<2> is a 1-12C alkylene, R<3> is vinyl, alkyl or methallyl) with a copolymer selected from among an olefin/ unsaturated monocarboxylic acid copolymer, a saponificate of an olefin/ unsaturated carboxylate copolymer and an olefin/unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (half ester) copolymer and 0.005-5wt% reaction accelerator (e.g., N,N'- dimethylbenzylamine).
