Facsimile device for detecting skewed manuscript

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To monitor the degradation of a manuscript sending mechanism by providing a detecting section for detecting the inclination of the manuscript with a sensor turned on and off. CONSTITUTION:When a manuscript 1 is skewed and passes by a sensor 3, the information is transmitted to a detecting section 4, and when the manuscript 1 further proceeds and passes by a sensor 2, the information is transmitted to a detecting section 4 in which time interval of the information transmitted from the sensors 2, 3 or the number of pulses of a feed motor for driving the manuscript travelling is counted to obtain the value X of length of inclination indirectly. By the value X and the gap L between the sensors 2, 3 is calculated the degree of zigzagging.
