Paper feed device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a paper sheet from being damaged due to the trailing end thereof leaping up, and to smoothly convey paper sheets, by providing a control circuit for decreasing the speed of a paper feed roll. CONSTITUTION:When a paper roll 4 starts to make in contact with the trailing end of a paper sheet A, a control circuit 6 delivers a signal to a drive circuit 5 so that a voltage lower than a predetermined voltage is delivered, and therefore, a drive motor 1 decreases the rotational speed thereof to lower the rotational speed of the paper feed roll 4. In association with the lowering of the rotational speed of the paper feed roll 4, projections 4a on the paper feed roll 4 decreases the conveying speed of the sheet A and therefore, the trailing end of the paper sheet A is made into contact with the projections 4a at a lower speed. Thereby the trailing end of the paper sheet is smoothly fed out without leaping up.
