Nozzle structure for electromagnetic type fuel injection valve
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively supply atomized fuel into an engine, by forming more than three spraying holes and an impinging part having a predetermined cross-sectional area and opposed to the spraying holes in an injection hole. CONSTITUTION:More than three spraying holes 22 which are inclined with respect to the spraying direction are formed at positions having equal intervals on a circle about the center axis of a nozzle 21 so that they are adjacent to each other. Further, an impinging part 24 having a predetermined cross-sectional area in a direction orthogonal to the axis is formed in the apex part of a conical section 23 which is formed in the center part of the nozzles by the spraying holes 22. In this arrangement, metered fuel injected from an injection hole 6 enters into a confluent part 27 in the nozzle 21 in a columnar sprayed condition. Further the columnar spray impinges upon the impinging part 24 and is turned into atomized mist-like fuel which are equally distributed into the spraying holes 22 that are circular cross-sectioned shape fuel injection passages. Thus, the fuel mist is effectively fed in a circle having a predetermined distance which is previously set in a condition which is limited by the spraying holes 22 along the conical section 23.
