Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce a cost and to reduce the thickness of a body by engaging fixedly a ring-like speed detecting magnet with a concentrically annular protrusion with respect to a rotating center. CONSTITUTION:A recess 1a is formed on the inner periphery of a ring-shaped speed detecting magnet 1, and a concentrically smooth protrusion 2a is disposed with respect to the rotating center of a rotor 2 on the outer periphery coincident with the inner diameter of the magnet 1. The end face of the magnet 1 having the recess 1a is brought into contact with that of the rotor 2, the magnet 1 is engaged with the protrusion 2a, an adhesive is poured from the recess of the magnet 1 to secure the magnet 1 to the rotor 2.
